Darby

F1 Newfiedoodle

Darby is our 2 1/2 year old newfiedoodle. Her mom was a newfoundland and her dad was a standard poodle. She weighs about 70lbs and stands 26 inches at the shoulder. She is extremely loving and affectionate with her family and will purr when she's very happy ( yes she is a dog not a cat). She is very athletic and enjoys going to the dog park and getting other dogs to chase her (very few can catch her). She's always interested in what the family is doing and will make the rounds to check on everyone in turn. She looks into your eyes and you would swear she understands exactly what your'e saying. She sleeps in bed and loves to spoon in the morning.

Darby has been genetically tested and is clear of all variants tested for by Embark.

Newton

Standard Poodle

Newton is my mom's 3 year old Standard poodle. He weighs 65lbs and stands 24 inches at the shoulder. He is an extremely smart, sweet boy who loves to do tricks and fetch the ball. He is super quick to catch on to a new trick and loves to show off for visitors. He lives on the farm and loves to play and get dirty. He is my moms heart dog and sleeps beside her on the bed every night. He is extremely loving and cuddly. Newton has sired several previous litters. He has been genetically tested and is clear of all genetic disease markers Embark tests for.

Milo

Black Russian Terrier

Milo is our Black Russian Terrier. He was born in 2017. Milo is 110lbs and he is a lover. He loves people and visits everyone in turn at the dog park so that everyone has the opportunity to scratch his bum. He is patient and kind to other dogs and to people. He is the quintessential gentle giant. He loves to rub his face and body against you while you pet and scratch him.

The kids at the elementary school used to call him a bear-cat. Because they said he looks like a bear but acts like a cat.

Sherman

Pyredoodle

Sherman was born in November 2021 and was orphaned at 10 days old. We have had him ever since.

Sherman is a beautiful boy and is almost as big as Milo at 95lbs. His personality has a lot of Pyrenees traits. He’s very protective of our property and us, he barks a lot ( so much actually) and he’s incredibly stubborn. He’s also extremely sweet and goofy.

Sherman had to have surgery on both of his shoulders when he was 6 months old so he wasn’t able to complete his puppy obedience classes or socialize for months surrounding the surgery date as he was on restricted activity for months before and after surgery. Combined with the fact that he is an orphan and as much as Darby was involved with the orphans I wasn’t able to allow her to discipline them like she would if they were her own puppies. He has some communication issues when it comes to other dogs and strangers. He is a work in progress.
